Rajat Ullagadimath Appeals for Consideration in Lok Sabha Race

Hubballi: Young Congress leader Rajat Ullagadimath is vying for a Congress party ticket to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election. Ullagaddimath met with Minister and Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency in-charge, Laxmi Hebbalkar, on Friday. Although Rajat was a strong contender for the Assembly election in Hubballi Central constituency, he refrained from last-minute efforts as former CM Jagadish Shettar joined the party and became a Congress candidate.

Having actively engaged in social work, Rajat has dedicated 15 years to the party, serving in various capacities. During his meeting with Hebbalkar, he earnestly requested her to consider his candidacy for the Lok Sabha constituency. The Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) has appointed ministers to collect opinions and views from their respective Lok Sabha constituencies to shortlist potential candidates.

Laxmi Hebbalkar, appointed as the in-charge of the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, will engage in discussions with leaders, gather opinions, and seek memoranda from potential candidates to ensure a thorough evaluation process.
